A rare George III London made silver vinaigrette, circular with reed decoration and un-engraved circular cartouches on both lids, opens to reveal the beautiful pierced grille and original fire-gilt interior. The vinaigrette is in good overall condition, the grille and interior gilding are particularly nice. There is a split along part of the seam between the body and the underside.
The suspension ring is a later addition. The makers mark on the top lid is partially worn. The bottom compartment with the mark for.
