The Stand sits on 3 Excellent scrolled legs with stunning detail to the lion paw feet which are bracketed to the central holder for a burner with the top of the stand having a circular shape with a deep rim to hold the Coffee Pot and a full circumference beaded border with solid drop ring handles on raised leaf mounts above each leg. The Biggin has a superb Neo classical design with a deep bulbous body with a tapering neck banded beneath the upper rim with a wide high formed spout with the circular hinged lid having a shaped and formed silver finial with a looped "C" shaped handle with the lower body having a full circumference beaded band to match the base above you have a stunning band of foliate and flower engraving with a winged bird to either side of the pot.
The Spirit Burner has a circular body with a central removable wick holder. The Biggin, Stand and Burner all bear the same Excellent Armorial Crest.William Frisbee was in partnership with Paul Storr in 1792 and I have found through searching very similar Coffee pots on stands by him made after this piece which was hallmarked in 1804 so one can only assume that both still worked closely and Paul Storr thought highly of the design. The Pot and Stand are in Excellent Condition inside and out. The Biggin is hallmarked to the base and also to the inside of the lid with the stand hallmarked to the side rim and the spirit burner to the base. Town Mark - Leopards Head Crowned - London.
