London Leopard head is missing but from research, his assay office was always London. The knife is not truly straight as shown in the image.A Silversmith could re-set this for you again with pitch. Measures 12 or 30cm approx. The upper in steel, has a makers name of Lockwood Brothers of Sheffield - a quality makers of the time. His mark the'CX' was assigned to John Lockwood of Ecclesfield. All in all a quality piece. The hippocampus crest needs more research. Has a few dings to the handle from use, but the steel feels sharp still.
