Rare and very collectable, 18th Century Antique Early George III Sterling Solid Silver Basting, Gravy, Stuffing or Hash Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For London 1775, making this a 245 Year old Antique Treasure. Fully hallmarked for JOHN LAMBE registered from 1774 to 1778 in London with slightly rubbed Hallmarks that are still very readable.The Basting Spoon is 28cm/11 inches Long, and weighs 86g, it is of the Old English Pattern, it is not monogrammed , please look at the pictures. Although the spoon is big it has a very elegant feel to it. The Hallmarks and makers marks are easily readable the date letter is a little rubbed, the spoon is made of a good gauge of silver.
The condition is very good Antique condition for a spoon that is 245 years old it has very little wear to the tip of the bowl, a highly polished finish, no dents or repairs, surface scratches commensurate with age.
